A new Online Training module is now available - see the "Web Ticket Entry/Request Training" menu item at the LEFT.  Access to the OCARS Web Ticket Entry application was discontinued on March 29, 2007.  NOTE: This does NOT affect remote access for positive response used by members and locators. This ONLY applies to Web Ticket Entry.

The Federal Communications Commission has designated 811 as the National "Call Before You Dig" number. This means that when you call 811 from a telephone or cell phone in Virginia, you will be connected with Miss Utility of Virginia. On May 1, 2007 the Common Ground Alliance will sponsor a national media event to launch the use of 811. The Common Ground Alliance (CGA), is the leading association created specifically to work with all industry stakeholders in an effort to prevent damage to underground utility infrastructure and ensure public safety and environmental protection. Call 811 is already fully implemented in Virginia.
